CO-ED OUTDOOR "BOOT CAMP" STYLE WORKOUTS !!! 

THESE CLASSES ARE DESIGNED TO IMPROVE STRENGTH, CARDIOVASCULAR CONDITIONING AND FLEXIBILITY AS WELL AS OVERALL ATHLETICISM THROUGH BALANCE AND AGILITY EXERCISES.  THEY TAKE PLACE AT INSPIRING OUTDOOR LOCATIONS AND WILL GET PARTICIPANTS IN GREAT SHAPE FOR ALMOST ANY SPORT . . . MOUNTAIN BIKING, TENNIS, HOCKEY, GOLF, ETC. . . . OR SIMPLY THE SPORT OF LIFE!

NORDIC WALKING

NORDIC WALKING HAS TAKEN OVER EUROPEAN FITNESS - NOW IT'S MAKING GREAT STRIDES IN THE UNITED STATES. YOU'LL BURN UP TO 30 PERCENT MORE CALORIES AND USE MORE MUSCLES WITHOUT AN INCREASED PERCEIVED RATE OF EXERTION. TRY IT! YOU'LL LOVE IT!  CLASSES INCLUDE USE OF LEKI DEMO NORDIC WALKING POLES, EXPERT INSTRUCTION, SUPPORT, EDUCATION, CAMARADERIE, AND FUN!

SKI CONDITIONING 

GET A JUMP START ON THE SKI SEASON WITH ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO PREPARE YOUR MUSCLES, JOINTS, AND BALANCE SYSTEMS FOR THE BEST SEASON EVER!

The only ski conditioning program taught by a Professional Ski Instructors of America National Alpine Team member as well as an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer!

 

**Except for ski conditioning classes, class locations will change daily so that we can keep our workouts varied and exciting. They'll always be in a beautiful location and will usually be within about a 5-mile radius of the Stateline area.

Group outdoor classes involve activities designed to improve aerobic conditioning, strength, flexibility, and overall athleticism.

Outdoor fitness classes are priced to encourage 4-week long participation.  Dropins are allowed for $15.  Please call in advance to register as a Drop-in..

Wednesday, September 3 7:15-8:30 class meets at the top of Saddle Road off of Pioneer Trail.  Going west on Pioneer, turn left just before the Temple Bat Yam onto Saddle Road.  Look for the red Subaru parked at the top of the hill.  Remember to bring a towel/mat and water. 

Friday, September 5 - 7:15-8:30am class meets at -- TBD.

Wednesday, September 10 - 7:15-8:30am class meets at -- TBD.

Regular cost for the 4 week Co-ed Boot Camp Session is $96 (drop-ins are allowed for $15, but please call in advance at 530 318 7121).

NORDIC WALKING SESSIONS

Locations will change weekly to add diversity in exercise and diversity in scenery to our walks.

Robin has over 18 years experience teaching and coaching fitness and sports. She blends her passion for the outdoors and drive for peak athleticism with sound exercise techniques that will inspire and motivate your workouts. Robin will work with your individual needs, whether in Personal Training sessions or in group class formats, to help you develop and realize your fitness goals. First-time exercisers to high-level athletes will benefit from Tahoe Outdoor Fitness sessions. Robin designs exercises and activities that are designed to improve aerobic conditioning, strength and endurance, flexibility, and overall athleticism.

Tahoe Outdoor Fitness was established to take advantage of Lake Tahoe's natural playground and near-perfect weather where we can exercise and play with a goal of improved fitness and athleticism.
